“The Striking Truth” – Georges St-Pierre and David Loiseau Documentary

Sunday, June 6th, 2010

While very little is known about the actual release date of “The Striking Truth” a documentary about the rise of Canada’s Georges St. Pierre and the struggles of his friend and former sparring partner David Loiseau, you gotta say, “I can’t wait to watch this”, after seeing the movie trailer.  Although there is some dramatic dialogue used in the trailer, if the documentary goes the route of showing a true history of these two fighters, it’s going to be a killer combo.  Check out the trailer and form your own opinion, be sure to use 720p HD in full screen.

David Loiseau’s In Sans Pression Rap Video

Tuesday, July 29th, 2008

David Loiseau is featured in this new Numero 1 rap video by Canadian artist Sans Pression.  While the phat beats are kicking, David is training looking like a total bad ass.  Too bad GSP isn’t in the video too…

Anyway, it’s a cool video, but I don’t know what it’s about.  Maybe some of our French Canadian friends can explain the lyrics.

David Loiseau was on in the MMA spotlight for quite some time – he’s amazing elbow strikes where the talk of the UFC.  He was really a notable fighter until his loss to Rich Franklin and then Mike Swick – after that fight the UFC released him (canceled his contract), and we’ve heard very little about him in the UFC world.

Rich Franklin David Loiseau After Fighting

“Hello all, just here to keep you informed on whats going on with me. Hopefully, MY REAL FANS WILL FOLLOW ME WHEREVER I GO. The UFC recently cancelled my contract following my decision loss at UFC63. It saddens me because I felt like the UFC was my home. But I guess I’ll have to find a new place to call home. Right now Im in SanDiego training with Brandon Vera and Rob Kaman. Brandon is in solid shape for his fight.” -Source David Loiseau’s Blog  11/15/2006

So, I decided to look around and found out that David Loiseau fought last on May 11th 2007 at Art of War in Austin Texas. He fought against Freddie Espiricueta and defeated him in the second round via submission, an arm triangle choke. Before his fight with Freddie, he lost to Joey Villasenor, at EliteXC. David was also scheduled to fight on July 7th 2007 at Steelcage in Las Vegas, but had to withdraw due to an injury.

Fight Video Gold David Loiseau Fights Jeremy Horn

Sunday, July 22nd, 2007

David Loiseau has some of the best elbows in the industry. He can take stop a fight in a matter of no time if he can mount his opponent and throw a few elbows. In this fight, David Loiseau takes on Jeremy Horn at TKO 15 – Unstoppable. The fight is quick, and to my surprise, Jeremy Horn finishes the fight quickly with a Guillotine Choke dangling in the air!. Check out this great fight video.
