UFC 76 was a night full of upsets and decisions. The Diego Sanchez vs. Jon Fitch fight was a bit one sided, Keith Jardine vs. Chuck Liddell was a complete shocker - Liddell almost went down in the second, and lost via split decision and Forrest Griffin dominated Shogun in the second and third round and defeated Shogun with a rear naked choke - the first time Shogun has been submitted since 2003 - most likely the big time UFC jitters got to him, he was gassed very early in the fight. Mauricio Shogun Rua is interviewed candidly about his UFC 76 fight against Forrest Griffin.  Rule changes from Pride to UFC are discussed, and how it will affect his game.  The other Pride fighters who made their way over to the UFC and had trouble with the rules, such as Cro Crop are addressed.  Check out the full video.

Keith Jardine talks about his loss to Houston Alexander and how he simply bounced right back after the loss. He feels that Chuck’s fight against himself is a due or die fight. He expects Chuck to come out as cool as ever, ready to fight. He’s ready to go toe to toe with Chuck and test Chuck’s stand up against him. He knows that people think he has hole in his game and Keith is ready to prove them wrong. Check out this video of Keith.

This weekend Jon Fitch will take on Diego Sanchez. Coming off his first and only loss in the UFC to Josh Koscheck, Diego has something to prove, although in my opinion the fight should have been a draw, but I’m not referee, so whatever. Jon Fitch also has something to prove, he’s had 6 fights and 6 wins in the UFC already, and he’s gone unnoticed. This is a perfect opportunity for Jon to be in the spotlight and eventually find himself a title shot.

After sizing up Mauricio Shogun Rua, Forrest Griffin’s first impression is, “Man, I really want to fight that guy” and he can make it happen, being that Shogun is now fighting for the UFC. Shogun Rua will have to adjust to some new rules with this transition from Pride to the UFC. Shogun Rua knows that his first fight for the USA, in America must be good - he has something to prove. He’s a devastating striker and he has to make a lasting impression on the UFC crowd. The results will be known on September 22, 2007 when UFC 76 goes live at the Honda Center in CA.

Ultimate Fight Night 11 is now over, it was an amazing event, but it’s time to get ready for UFC 76. Joe Rogan hypes up the Chuck Liddell versus Keith Jardine UFC 76 fight in the following video. He talks about Chuck coming off a big loss to Rampage Jackson and how that will affect his mental game. Keith says that he’s going to go in there and give the fans a war. Dana White comments on Chuck saying that he’s gotten caught up in the rock star lifestyle and that he needs to get his head back together. Immediately after the loss against Quinton Jackson, Chuck was back in the gym training for his next, unknown fight. Dana thinks we’ll see a different Chuck Liddell this fight.

Quite honestly, Keith did very well against Forret Griffin, but Chuck Liddell is a whole new ball game.. has anyone seen what Houston Alexander did to Keith Jardine? Well, we’ll only see the results at UFC 76
