FightLinker posted an interesting topic about this weekend’s MFC 15 “Rag to Riches” HDNet Fight event.  At the end of the second round of the Pete Spratt vs Ryan Ford fight the bell clearly rings, Herb acknowledges it (slightly), however Ryan Ford continues to fight landing 2 big elbows on the head of Pete Spratt.  Pete is clearly affected by the blows and his team asks “What happens if Pete can’t continue? Is it a no contest?” Herb Dean responds “I don’t know. We’ll decide once Pete decides if he can continue or not.”  Check out the video and the humorous write up provided by FightLinker.

In November of 2003 Pete Spratt fought Georges St. Pierre at his TKO premier – TKO 14 Road Warriors. This was Georges 5th professional fight and was fairly unknown at the time and was a considered to be a major underdog against Spratt.  Georges St. Pierre defeated Pete Spratt 3 minutes and 40 seconds into the first round with a Rear Naked Choke.
