Hitmen Fight Gear Pool Party - Post UFC 100 Pics

Hitmen Fight Gear wrapped up UFC 100 with a killer pool party at Daydream (M Hotel and Casino). Among the MMA personalities attending the party were Dan Henderson and the Hitmen Fight Gear Girls. As I am sure you’re not here to see pics of Hendo post-UFC 100, I’ll delay the inevitable no further with some pics of the Hitmen girls.

Video: Dan Henderson Talks Upcoming Fight with Rich Franklin

Dan Henderson states that he was pretty pissed off about his loss to Anderson Silva. He thought that he landed some pretty hard shots and thought he would knock him out, but Anderson’s chin approved to be better. Regarding his upcoming fight against Rich Franklin, he knows that it will be a challenge standing up with Rich, he’s dangerous on his feet and it will be a chess match. Dan fights well in the clinch and can open up a lot of opportunities, this is something that he can dominate Rich in and will be sure to find himself working the clinch with Rich. Dan additionally feels that he has more tools than Rich. Rich is limited to one dimension, stand up, while Dan can handle it all and plans on dominating him in all areas.

The UFC Makes it’s Way into Ireland for 2009 + Presale Password

The UFC just announced that they will kick off the year of 2009 in Dublin, Ireland. Man, these guys are really shakin and moving. Just last month we talked about how the UFC is expanding globally into the Asian and European markets and this just confirms it… The event will take place at The O2 Dublin on January 17th 2009. UFC 88 Video Dan Henderson Vs. Luiz Palhares Pre Fight Interview

I’m really looking forward to the UFC 88 fight this weekend. So I’m going crazy in anticipation watching all of the prefight videos. In the following interview Dan Henderson and Palhares are interviewed about their upcoming UFC 88 fight with one another. Dan states that Palhares appears to be dangerous on the ground, he’s aware of that and is looking out for his ground game. Henderson plans to attempt to knock Palhares out standing up, so look for a submission from Palhares and a KO from Dan Henderson folks.

Joe Rogan’s UFC 82 Anderson Silva vs Dan Henderson Preview Video

ESPN interview Joe Rogan regarding tonight’s UFC 82 fight featuring Dan Henderson vs Anderson Silva. When asked for a preview of tonight’s fight, Joe states that Dan Henderson and Anderson Silva are the two best 185lb MMA fighters in the world, no question. He goes on to say that both fighters are stacked and as for fight predictions, it’s truly a 50 / 50 fight, Anderson is one hell of a striker while Dan is an Olympic wrestler with Knock Out Power capable of knocking out Wanderlei Silva. Chris Leben’s Next Fight… UFC 82 Dan Henderson vs Anderson Silva Fight Night

Coming off of a sweet victory over Terry Martin at Ultimate Fight Night 11, Chris Leben is getting ready to face off with Alessio Sakara at UFC 82. The event will take place on March 1, 2008 at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus Ohio, the same night that Anderson Silva will take on Dan Henderson for the UFC Middleweight championship. Henderson’s coming off of a loss in which he had a light heavyweight title shot against Quinton Rampage Jackson. Henderson didn’t get the Light Heavyweight Belt, now he’s getting a shot at the light heavyweight belt? How does that work? Shouldn’t there be some fights in between? I guess that Henderson’s performance against Rampage, which was a very close fight all the way, is enough to give him that shot for the middleweight belt. Although in my opinion, Anderson Silva is going to be a tougher battle for Henderson.
