This Saturday, the UFC will have it’s first event in New Jersey since the early days.  Luckily for New Jersey, they will be able to see one of their up and coming stars fighting live in the Octagon.  Frankie Edgar, a Toms River New Jersey native, will take on Spencer Fisher at UFC 78.  Frankie states, ““I love fighting in Jersey, and the crowd’s energy is just gonna be amazing”… “I think it’s something everybody wishes they could do – fight in front of a huge home crowd. New Jersey native Frankie Edgar is set to taken on Spencer Fisher at UFC 78 in Newark NJ. Frank Edgar has an undefeated 7 win record. He entered the UFC about in February of 2007 (UFC 67) and has fought one more fight with the UFC since (UFC 73). Edgar has defeated Tyson Griffin, and Mark Bocek. In addition to fighting in the UFC, Spencer has fought in Reality Fighting Championships, Ring of Combat, and Sportfighting. His fight against Mark Bocek can be seen below:
