Brandon Vera and Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou Red and Yellow UFC 89 TapOut Tshirt
Saturday, October 18th, 2008UFC 89 has been an exciting event thus far. Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou came out putting a hurting on Luis Arthur Cane with some strong fast kicks. However the explosiveness caught up with Sokoujou and he quickly became gassed. Cane capitalized on it and defeated Sokoudjou in the second round.
Brandon Vera and Keith Jardine are faced off, Brandon and Keith have both landed flash KO on each other in the first round, the second round has been pretty even in striking and the third round wasn’t very eventful. Overall Jardine seemed a bit ahead of Vera, landing more strikes and eventually pulled off the win via decision.
Both for the Jardine vs Vera fight, the corner of Vera wore this nice yellow and red TapOut shirt, the same shirt Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou Team Quest corner teammates (Dan Henderson and Krzysztof Soszynski) wore for Sokoudjou’s fight. Brandon Vera vs Tim Syvlia Winner Gets Title Shot For Couture’s Belt
Wednesday, October 17th, 2007Rumor has it that the winner of UFC 77’s Heavyweight Fight Tim Syvlia vs Brandon Vera will get an opportunity to face Antonio Nogueira for Randy Couture’s UFC Heavyweight Title. Tuesday, October 16th, 2007Earlier today we posted a video of Tim Sylvia talking about his upcoming UFC 77 fight against Brandon Vera. Now let’s hear Brandon Vera’s take on the upcoming fight (note, the video was shot before Randy’s Exit from the UFC). Brandon was very humble during the interview. He hopes that if he beats Tim Sylvia that he will get a title shot. He knows that if he beats Brandon, he will prove to the world that that he’s the truth. He’s setting out to do so.

Tuesday, October 16th, 2007Tim Sylvia talks about his fight against Randy Couture. He states that he was shocked that Randy challenged him. They were friends, he didn’t expect that. Tim said in went into the fight with an injury and Randy went into the fight with a game plan. To fake the leg kick that Randy always threw did when they trained together and throw an overhand right instead.
Tim talks about Brandon Vera. He thinks that Brandon is good, but not as good as he thinks. He states that Brandon has not had the opportunity to face up against someone of the caliber of Tim Sylvia, he doesn’t know what he’s getting into.
