Wow, Rashad Evans knocks Chuck Liddell out cold at UFC 88, that is not what I was expecting to see. Evans entered the ring as the clear underdog in the fight, cool and collected. He began show boating before the fight even started, first by dancing to a little Immortal Technique and later DMX, finally getting himself ready for the fight with some twisting of his own nipples, don’t ask. The first round Rashad continued to move around the ring, never staying in one spot. He was extremely elusive, yet was able to land some good shots on Chuck Liddell, utilizing a continuous switch stance. At the end of the first, Rashad looked more and more confident, while Chuck seemed a bit frustrated with Rashad’s elusiveness and the mouse over his eye. The second round the two exchanged a series of punches and Rashad was clearly becoming more and more confident. His confidence showed as Chuck threw an upper cut at the same time Rashad threw a huge overhand right catching Liddell and sending him straight to the mat, knees buckling and all. Damn, props to Rashad.

Chuck Liddell is excited about this weekend’s fight against Rashad Evans at UFC 88. Chuck Liddell was injured back in April, preventing him from fighting Rashard Evans in June. He’s now healthy and more than ready to fight again, it should be a good show and he’s happy to be apart of it.

Rashad Evans thinks that his fight against Chuck Liddell is going to be a great experience. Chuck is such a top dog in the industry and Rashad sees this as an unreal opportunity to be able to fight with the best. He’s going to come out and let his hands fly and will see what happens. Chuck is not looking past the fight with Rashad, he sees him as a legit contender.

Matt Hamill appears to be extremely excited for tomorrow night’s UFC 88 fight against Rich Franklin. He has been training very hard for this fight, is in the best shape of his life and is very thankful for the opportunity to fight Rich Franklin. Matt thinks that fighting Rich will be the perfect test for him.

Rich Franklin sees the fight as a difficult fight for him due to his friendship with Matt Hamill. In response to people asking him what his thoughts are about this being a must win fight, Rich doesn’t see it as a must win situation. Rich states that Matt has helped with him his wrestling in the past and thought to himself in the past, I feel helpless, what would I do if I had to wrestle this guy?

I’m really looking forward to the UFC 88 fight this weekend. So I’m going crazy in anticipation watching all of the prefight videos. In the following interview Dan Henderson and Palhares are interviewed about their upcoming UFC 88 fight with one another. Dan states that Palhares appears to be dangerous on the ground, he’s aware of that and is looking out for his ground game. Henderson plans to attempt to knock Palhares out standing up, so look for a submission from Palhares and a KO from Dan Henderson folks.

Dana White has his own video blog these days to give UFC fans an inside look at what he’s up to / what he informally thinks about his upcoming week with the UFC.  In the following Video Dana White and David Spade are out for dinner and talk about the upcoming UFC 88 fight between Chuck Liddell and Rashad Evans.  Spade talks Liddell and says that they hung out at Spade’s party and Liddell is a little bit of a “Boozy Suzy”.  He’s fun to watch, but he doesn’t want to be in it.

Alright, I’ve seen it all.  I’ve seen fight predictions from big kids, little kids, fat kids, old men, cute women and now… a transsexual.  From the same person who brought you “10 Tips to be a better transsexual”, we have UFC 88 Predictions…

This has to be one of the most distracting UFC fight predictions I’ve seen to date. I believe that fight predictions have officially jumped the shark.  Guys, we’re getting very close to “American Idol be so outstanding to get attention” craziness.

The UFC is coming to Atlanta for UFC 88 with a stacked card. Rashad Evans will be given a chance to prove himself by taking on Chuck Liddell, who recently gained a lot of steam after defeating Wanderlei Silva. Rashad feels that Chuck will come in ready and Rashad has prepared himself for this and is ready to brawl with Chuck, which I find to be quite amazing because typically we don’t see Rashad looking to brawl.

Finally Matt Hamill and Rich Franklin will face off. We all know that Hamill will come in with his ground game and his recently improved stand up, however Rich will enter the ring with a wealth of experience fighting and a championship experience. Rich feels that this will be a big opportunity for him to see how he can handle himself at his new weight class… Check out the video for all of the details.
