Last month he posted a topic titled Could You Be the Next IFL Super Star? Amateur MMA Fighters Sign Up .  Over the weekend the IFL held their try out sessions in New York.  The qualifiers from the New York draft try outs are all posted below.  For those of you who made it, congrats and good luck.

The IFL and it’s coaches are currently looking for new MMA Fighting talent for their 2008 season. The IFL will host three workout sessions, one in Mamaroneck NY, one in Schaumburg, IL and on in Cosa Mesa, CA. If you’re over 18 and you think you have what it takes, head over to IFL.tv to sign up. Requirements :

18+ years old (Must bring proof of age)
Must have at least ONE professional fight previously
Must sign an injury and image release form
Must have own protective gear (head gear, mouth guard, cup, shorts)
–Gear will be available for purchase at LA Boxing

Event Details :

Duration: 11:30am -6:00pm
The draft will have limited space for LA Boxing members to watch, however classes will be cancelled for the day.
Participants will be broken down by weight class
Participants will be required to perform sparring and grappling.

There’s not a lot of information out there about IFL Ring Girl Lori Tyler.  The IFL Website really says it best.  So, I’ll leave it to them to fill you in with all of the details and we’ll just post some pics.

“Born and raised in the Midwest’s Quad Cities, Lori developed a simultaneous passion for modeling and for the Visual Arts, and she has pursued both to great success. When she’s not working as an IFL Ring Girl or modeling for publications like Muscle & Fitness and Playboy, she works diligently at her own freelance design business.

Lori’s IFL career was spurred on by her friendship with Silverbacks coach Pat Miletich, who suggested that she submit her portfolio to the International Fight League. They were immediately taken with her beauty and enthusiasm for the sport, which she says she loves “for the pure sport of it.”

For those of you who are not familiar with Patricia Mikula, she is a Playboy Cyber Girl, an IFL Ring Girl, and most notably among the UFC fans, Andre Arlovski’s girlfriend.  Patricia’s bio is as follows:

• Lived in Chicago since
• Started modeling in 2006
• Patrycja Mikula was the Cybergirl for the week of April 2, 2007- her 1st time posing for Playboy, the same pictures were also featured in the February 2007 issue under Potpourri.

Okay, so the other day we posted a link to a new Warrior Wear commercial featuring Sean Sherk and Amber Nichole Miller.  Well we forgot to mention that IFL’s Emily Miller was also featured in the commercial.  Having said that, we should point on some more Emily Miller posts from the past including, an Emily Miller IFL Desktop Wallpaper and the IFL Ring Girl Search Video. The IFL (International Fight League) has been searching for the next IFL Ring Girl. Luckily, the ring girl search was filmed, and we have the clips. Some of your favorite ring girls, Holly, Emily and Lori can be seen in these videos, as well as the one and only Ras Butten!
