Just the other day SportsNet interviewed UFC President Dana White regarding the upcoming Kimbo Slice versus Ken Shamrock fight.  What are his thoughts about the fight?  Dana feels that Ken is way past his prime.  Actually, to a point at which it could be dangerous for him to fight.  Despite this, he still has a good chance at beating Kimbo Slice, why?  Because he states that “Kimbo Sucks”.  See the interview video yourself.  Is there even a possibility of Kimbo loosing?  My money’s on Kimbo.

Kimbo’s happy to face up with Ken Shamrock in his hometown for his next EliteXC event, he feels like he’s once again fighting in his backyard, but in a cage. He hopes that Shamrock brings his best, because Kimbo is ready to bring his best. He’s prepared to fight 7, 8 rounds. Wait, wasn’t he winded after 2 his last fight? Well, he addresses that issue, his trainers have pushed him much hard and has learned to endure, he’s got stamina. He’s like a sponge, soaking up all types of mma disciplines, creating his own style of martial arts and he’s ready for all of that stuff Shamrock does. Ken Shamrock better be prepared, because Kimbo says that he’s going to be a problem for him.

EliteXC has announced that the king of the streets, Kimbo Slice is set to face UFC legend Ken Shamrock on October 4th’s EliteXC Saturday Night Fights. Ticket are on sale now boys and girls. The event will take place at Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida and will be free to view for CBS television viewers.
