UFC 94 takes place tonight and the main event as we all know and look forward to, is GSP vs BJ Penn.  Both fighters made weight last night, GSP weighing in at 170lb, Penn 168lb. Although the weigh ins are typically not that eventful, this one was definitely unique. Akihiro Gono, being his crazy self showed up for the weigh ins with a nice afro wig.  He did the typically weigh in routine, but instead of staring down his opponent Jon Fitch, he shared his ‘fro with him.  Pictures of the afro sharing event are below.

This weekend’s UFC 94 headliner is Georges St. Pierre vs BJ Penn.  To carry on the spirit of this event the guys over at THQ, the makers of the upcoming UFC 2009 Undisputed video game have released a match up video between GSP and Penn.  If you’re interested in seeing what this weekend’s fight could potentially look like, just watch the video.

While in Hawaii for the UFC 94 press conference between BJ Penn and Georges St. Pierre, Arianny Celeste decides to partake in a little post conference bikini photoshoot.  This Thanksgiving you should be thankful for three things:

This Thursday tickets for UFC 94 Georges St. Pierre vs BJ Penn go on presale for UFC Fight Club members.  Shortly after, on Saturday November 15th newsletter presale tickets go on sale (password: CHAMPIONSHIP).  The UFC 94 event will take place in non other than Las Vegas Nevada at the MGM Grand, Saturday, January 31st 2009.  The event will be the second UFC event in the year 2009, the first event being over seas in Ireland.  Be sure to get tickets for this historic fight.  The UFC is bringing it!
