MMA Fight Girls Wallpaper

We just introduced you to Michelle Vera (Another Vera in the MMA Scene – Michelle Vera, Brandon’s Sister).  As we said in the previous post, she will be on the upcoming women’s MMA reality show “Ultimate Women Combat”.  During one of her recent interviews she mentions that her first MMA fight was a bit comical.  She didn’t get into details and she stated that a copy of the video exists, however, it’s in her possession and you won’t find it on youtube.  She appeared to be very good humored about the fight, so, we decided to do a little digging and happened to turn up something.  The below fight video shows Michelle slipping within the first few seconds of the fight.  She falls and her opponent, Leah Melnychuk capitalizes on the slip.  She gets on top and puts Michelle in a very hairy situation.  However Michelle pulls through and makes it for a full 3 rounds.  Check out the video below, along with some pictures of Michelle Vera and Leah Melnychuk from the event.

The Ultimate Women Challenge is a new female MMA reality show that will air this December.  Among the cast members is Michelle Vera,  Brandon Vera‘s younger sister.  Brandon’s manager was contacted regarding the show and reached out to Michelle to inform her of the show.  Kerry and Michelle Vera both interviewed for the show and made the cast. Michelle has a number of muay thai fights and few amateur MMA fights.  She won her most recent fight via unanimous decision.  When asked if she has been inspired by her Brother Brandon, she states “no”.  She actually began training before Brandon was even apart of the UFC.  When asked about her future in MMA, she said she always has a plan B.  She understands that female MMA hasn’t made it big time yet, and it won’t until the UFC picks it up.  If you’re interested in seeing one of the worst interviews of all time, check out this amateur interview of Michelle.  To see a much better interview, watch the second one below.
