An Interview With UFC Ring Girl Manager Leslie Britton
The glitz and the glamour of being a UFC Octagon Girl doesn’t come without proper planning and sacrifice… This is where UFC Ring Girl Manager Leslie Britton comes in. Leslie takes on the responsibility of ensuring that everything goes as planned for Arianny Celeste, Ali Sonoma and the other ring girls at UFC Events. In a recent interview with Leslie, Ultimate Grappling Magazine asked Leslie to state her job description, she describes it as this:
“World’s largest MMA organization seeks Octagon ring supervisor. You will prepare the ring girls for the live pay-per-show and live broadcasts. You must be willing to work hard, handle long hours, enjoy travel, work behind the scenes, be willing to deal with tipsy or overzealous customers, know where everything is, stay calm under fire and have a backup plan for every possible snafu.”
Leslie’s job is to ensure that the girls are ready for the event, safe from crazy drunken fans, looking good, and knowing what to do. And the girls appreciate this, Leslie states that the girls think very highly of her, especially Arianny Celeste who has a picture of herself and Leslie on her myspace page.
