Rob Emerson Lords of South County = Arrested Video?
Rob Emerson interviewed with TAGG Radio about his upcoming UFC 81 fight against Keita Nakamura. In addition to speaking about how he hurt his rib in training and being slammed by Gray Maynard in their last fight, caused something to be dislodged. The result, three months to heal. So now he’s ready to get back into the game, however, there has been some distractions about a recent arrest and an arrested related to his alleged gang member status from years ago. Emerson stated on the TAGG show that we was never apart of a gang and the whole thing was thrown way out of proportion.
A Fox video related to the event from years ago was posted to few months back, but there was little information about it at the time. TAGG Radio’s interview gives a better understanding of what happened, from Emerson’s perspective. A group of kids where fighting, Emerson’s involvement was simply stopping a kid from kicking another kid in the head, which in the end, most likely resulted in Emerson saving the kid’s life.
As for his recent arrest, Emerson stated on the TAGG Radio show, “There was a bunch of Persian dudes, about 12 of them I guess. They thought we were a group of guys that they had apparently fought earlier. So we got jumped. It was like 12 on four.”… He had to do two months in jail for it.. “My lawyer was going to get it thrown out, but the day they were going to throw it out, someone Googled my name and saw that awhhh I am a professional fighter… I’m the only one that got in trouble in the fight, I guess, because I’m considered a professional.”

Show your support, buy tonight’s card. Some of weakest cards have turned out to be some of the best and most exciting. IMO all the fights tonight are great match-ups style wise and it could be a very exciting card.
