Tim Sylvia Released from the UFC, Fedor Talking to Dana White
Announced on HDNet as well as the Bubba the Lovesponge show, Tim the Maniac Sylvia has been released from the UFC. No longer being tied to a UFC contract, Tim has signed with Adrenaline MMA. Solidifying early rumors, UFC President Dana White confirmed that Tim has in fact been released from the UFC. In addition to the news of Tim leaving, Dana also announced that the UFC has been in talks Fedor Emelianenko and that he (Dana) is open to a possible Randy Couture versus Fedor match. Dana Commenting, according to yahoo.com,
“We want to make the fights the people want to see,” White said. “If there is a fight that we can make for him that people really want to see, then we’ll try the best we can to get that done. We’ll see what we can do as far as (signing Emelianenko) goes.”
