Roger Huerta Trades in his Gloves for Acting
UFC lightweight pretty boy star Roger Huerta has decided to trade in his gloves for an acting career. At a time with only one fight left in his UFC contract, and a three deal movie contract from lions gate films, Huerta realizes that he only has enough time to one career.
So acting it will be. Along with Cung Le, Roger is currently working on the set of Tekken, a movie based on the popular fighting video game Tekken. Huerta will play the role of “Miguel Caballero Rojo”, a character in the game who is described as “a brawler from Spain”. The movie will be released toward the end of 2009.
