MMA Fight Girls Wallpaper

This weekend, November 3rd, Bodog Fight will air Extreme Fighting Challenge (XFC) 5.  The main event for the night is Jose Pele Landi-Jons versus Jake Ellenberger.  Jake Ellenberger has a 15-3-0 record, fighting with Team Quest and works out closely with Matt Lindland.  Expect a good fight.  The others fighting at XFC 5 will be:

It’s halloween, time to let loose, have fun and hand out tricks or treats.  Here’s my trick of the day, two “MMA” videos that most likely, you’ve never seen before in your life.  Fedor Emelianenko fights Gabriel Gonzaga, who turns into a robot and rips off his limb and Kimbo Slice fighting Mark Hunt with a bat.  Who comes up with this stuff?

RioHeroes.com is yet another league to hit the MMA Scenes, but with an underground niche. They however, they claim not to be MMA. On their website they state:

“RioHeroes is a vale tudo fight league with no intentions of replicating or conforming to any of the current MMA fight leagues. The company has nothing against MMA, however, we strive to provide real life fights without corporate sanctioned regulations, rounds, or time limits. RioHeroes is a true vale tudo league and will remain that way forever.”

“All of our fighters have come together to agree on a basic set of rules which we refer to as the Warrior’s Code. This includes: no eye-gouging, no hair pulling, no biting, and no groin shots. Besides that, Anything Goes.”

I don’t I agree with all of this.. Seems like a lot of unnecessary danger.. I think I’ll stick with the UFC, Pride, IFL, Bodog, etc.. What do you guys think of all this? I’d like to hear your thoughts on RioHeroes.

After yesterday’s press release by the UFC regarding Randy Couture’s statements, I thought it would be appropriate to take a look (again) at what Randy Couture said about the UFC.

Randy Couture states that he wouldn’t sign things away, the rights to his name and image for video games, clothing, etc. Randy states that everyone is making this out to be about money, but it’s not about money for Randy, it’s about respect and integrity of the sport. He feels that he was not put out there and used appropriately. There are a lot of example over the way, but he feels that he’s starting to sound petty, so he’s not going to get involved. TCPalm published an article today stating that Ultimate Fighter Din Thomas was arrested today on charges of holding “illegal cage fighting matches”.  Apparently Din was observed allowing two men to fight inside an octagon with 150 spectators.  This fight was not sanction by the State Boxing Commission and therefore was illegal. “At the end of the day, he was having a professional mixed martial arts match that was not licensed through us,” …. “It was a case of unlicensed activity”, Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation Sam Farkas said.
