UFC 94 Weigh in Results, Akihiro Gono and Jon Fitch Share an Afro Wig
Saturday, January 31st, 2009UFC 94 takes place tonight and the main event as we all know and look forward to, is GSP vs BJ Penn. Both fighters made weight last night, GSP weighing in at 170lb, Penn 168lb. Although the weigh ins are typically not that eventful, this one was definitely unique. Akihiro Gono, being his crazy self showed up for the weigh ins with a nice afro wig. He did the typically weigh in routine, but instead of staring down his opponent Jon Fitch, he shared his ‘fro with him. Pictures of the afro sharing event are below.

UFC Fitness Clubs Coming to a Town Near You
Friday, January 30th, 2009The UFC is looking to leverage their brand identity and enter some new cross promotional ventures. The most recent is a line of UFC fitness clubs across the US. The UFC line of fitness clubs will first appear on the West Coast, 5 locations are to open up in California to start, and will eventually work their way over to Hawaii and Montreal, Canada, where the UFC has struck deals with both BJ Penn for Hawaii and Georges St. Pierre for Canada. The gyms will offer a variety of services from cardio and weight equipment, personal training, group fitness classes and of course MMA training. Not a bad idea…

This time it’s the new UFC Ring Girl Logan Stanton modeling “naked” in a bedroom. The resolution totally sucks, but it’s better than the few pics that we had just last week.
