Kim Couture vs Kerry Vera Strikeforce Fight

While Randy Couture and Brandon Vera face off at UFC 105 on November 14th in Manchester England, Kim Couture and Kerry Vera, the wifes of the UFC 105 fighters, will be facing off just a few days after at the Strikeforce Challenge. Kerry, who has traditionally been a muay thai kickboxer, best known for her role on “Fight Girls”, has recently entered the MMA world via her first professional fight at Bellator Fighting Championships versus Leslie Smith. After three rounds of brawling, Kerry took home the victory via decision. Kim has slightly more professional experience training at Xtreme Couture with Gina Carano and also have two pro fights under her belt. He first fight vs Kim Rose tested the heart of Couture, ended after three rounds. Couture went home with a loss and a jaw that had been broken in two locations. The test showed that Kim has the heart of a warrior as she returned 5 months later to defeat Lina Kvokov in the first round of their fight at Strikeforce. Both fighters have a lot of heart and have something to prove. Look forward to an awesome battle between these two names in MMA.

Pics: Natasha Wicks Showing Cleavage for Fight! Magazine

The lastest UFC Octagon girl Natasha Wicks will be the featured MMA girl in the upcoming month’s October 2009 Issue of Fight! Magazine. Topless and wearing just a black leather jacket, Natasha’s new pics have attracted the attention of many in the MMA community. Although only one pic has leaked to the Internet, it sure looks spicey. We’ll post the rest of the Natasha Wicks photos when they become available to us.

Jennifer Connelly MMA - “Inside this mild-mannered woman beats the heart of a ruthless ninja”

While Husband Paul Bettany films and upcoming film in California, wife Jennifer Connelly has been practicing MMA to occupy her time, way from her home in New York. While the MMA gym that she trains at is unknown, as well as the disciplines that she’s training in, she does reveal to Jimmy Kimmel that she loves the feeling that she gets from the sounds that emanate from focus mits. She states, that deep down, “Inside this mild-mannered woman beats the heart of a ruthless ninja”. MMA is moving up.

Female Fury 2 Fight Results + Tricia Burnside, Jill Guido and Jamie Seaton Interviews

The results of the Female Fury 2 fights that took place at the Kezar Pavilion in San Francisco, CA are in, along with some post fight interviews from winner fighters Tricia Burnside, Jill Guido and Jamie Seaton. Burnside defeated Julie Jackie via a third round decision, Guido defeated Angela Martin via a 5th round decision and Seaton additionally won via a decision in the 4th.

Video: Chuck Liddell Looks Robotic on Dancing with the Stars

Chuck Liddell’s first dance on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars just premiered. Honestly, the robot dance would have been most appropriate, as he was quite robotic on the dance floor. That’s not to say that I can bust some shiz on the dance floor. So, we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt, it was his first time on the floor, on national tv, I’m sure he felt pressured. Hopefully second time around he’ll represent like Jerry Rice did the NFL.

Houston Alexander Defeats Sherman Pendergars With Leg Strikes - Video

Houston Alexander is back! Well, at least for the night. Houston Alexander took on Sherman Pendergars last night at AMMA 4 - Adrenaline MMA at the Mid-America Center in Iowa. The fight ended swiftly in the first round after Houston landed a number of devastating leg strikes on Sherman, causing him to have difficulties standing up. A minute and fifty one seconds in, the fight was over and Alexander was the victor. Peep the video below.
